QA Analyst (Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a mid level Contract QA Analyst to help us test games and core software functionalities. You will be the first line of defense for build quality and will be instrumental in providing our players with a smooth bug-free experience. 

This is an onsite position in our Greenbrae, CA office.

What You'll Do

• Conduct detailed statistical analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in product and process quality.
• Perform regular quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze test results and produce comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommending actionable improvements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to products and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of Quality Assurance Experience.
• Able to switch between projects within moments notice
• Proficient understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and manual testing best practices.
• Experience in writing and executing test suites using Testmo or a similar software.
• Experience with one or more software testing methodologies.
• Experience in creating comprehensive manual test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with development pipelines and workflows.
• Experience working with remote test teams.
• Team Player
• Self-starter with proactive attitude

Extra Credits

• Able to read logs and code
• Experience with Load Testing
• Experience with release management best practices.
• Experience with API testing
• MMO and RPG experience a plus
• Proficiency in automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Understanding of tokenomics, NFTs, and decentralized exchanges
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies and concepts
