QA Analyst/Tester

Cold Banana is seeking an experienced QA Analyst who will work alongside our team of project managers and developers on a range of projects from bespoke web and mobile applications, apps, CMS-driven solutions and software products.

The Role

• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality, identifying any potential problems that users might encounter.
• Adhere to organisational policies, standards and best practices in application testing, documentation, and maintenance that support industry best practices and project approaches.
• Research and analyse product features being tested
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
• Communicate with the internal team to help clarify development tasks and attend quoting meetings when required.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of testing tools and software (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Lighthouse)
• knowledge of SQL and scripting
• understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Working understanding of software development and software quality assurance
• Clear and accurate written and verbal communication
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Understanding of UX and UI concepts.

Additional

• Experience with video editing software.
• Experience as a .NET developer.
• Familiarity with using CMS (Wordpress, Contentful or preferably Umbraco)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in software design, engineering, or computer science.

OR

• 2 Years of relevant experience
