Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of manual testing experience in ERP, a strong understanding of SQL databases, and proficiency with test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and cases within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and execute detailed manual test cases based on requirements and design documents
• Perform thorough manual testing to identify bugs and issues across different modules
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software
• Maintain and update test cases in Zephyr Test Management tool
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring proper prioritization and resolution
• Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity and validate database updates
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tool enhancements
• Provide mentorship to junior QA team members

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4-5 years of manual testing experience in software quality assurance
• Strong working knowledge of ERP, SQL and database validation
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Zephyr or similar test management tools
• Well-versed with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with API testing and automation (preferred but not mandatory)

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
