Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall new project and serial production inspection and testing activities.

• Review and approve for any countermeasure report related to product quality claim from customer.

• To coordinate handling customer complaints.

• To plan department continual improvement activities.

• To monitor overall warranty claims, lot rejects from customer and suppliers in order to ensure targets are achieved.

• To implement effective preventive action plan.

• To monitor subordinate discipline and job responsibilities.

• To review & ensure on time submission of any new project PPAP documents as prepared by Project Engineers related to

   mould transfer and any changes after full PSW approval.

• To identify the training needs for subordinates and to perform employee competency study and training effectiveness

   evaluation.

• To ensure that product quality meets as per customer requirements.

 Authorities:  

• Approve all QA/QA related reports.

• To stop production if unable to solve part quality defects.

• To stop / release shipment.

• To approve / reject leave and overtime application.
