Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing our applications and ensuring they meet the required standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes, manual testing methodologies, and the ability to work independently to identify bugs and issues before they impact production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing across web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and consistency.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Test Case Management: Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Regression & Integration Testing: Perform regression testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing to ensure quality and detect issues.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and improve test coverage.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Participate in UAT sessions and support users in validating the functionality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, test plans, reports).
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements, best practices, and improvements to testing methodologies.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-5Β years of experience in manual testing, including web and mobile applications.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Quality Center) and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Testing Techniques: Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, integration, exploratory).
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and issues across different environments.
  • Knowledge of SDLC: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Cross-Browser & Cross-Device Testing: Ability to test applications across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements.
  • Knowledge of Database Testing: Basic knowledge of SQL queries for backend validation and testing.
