Job Summary:Β We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Watermelon, or similar.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Perform automated testing to identify, report, and track defects and ensure software quality.
  • Develop and execute performance testing and security testing strategies as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure test coverage and adherence to best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and design test cases accordingly.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks and processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Watermelon, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of API testing and related tools.
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools as needed.
