What we do
We build, acquire, lease-up and operate telecommunications towers that can accommodate and power the needs of multiple tenants. Our tenants are the major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), and we serve them across nine high-growth markets (eight in Africa and one in the Middle East). Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that Helios Towersβ engineering and technical standards are implemented in the field.
- Technical Training and Competence Certification
- Quality Assurance of completed works at site
- Closure of technically complex SWO and SWO on Priority Sites
- Communication & Execution of Technical Bulletins
- Verification & Investigation of Component Failure Reports
- In-field warranty claim activities
- Assistance with New Product introduction trials
He (she) reports to the Operations Zonal Manager.
The role is based in the North of Madagascar.

Missions
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality awareness throughout our Network & Maintenance Partners
- Performing quality audits and lead management across the Maintenance Partners team audit that will effectively show opportunities for improvement and accountabilities
- Ensuring that preventive maintenance program and schedules are maintained by our maintenance partners as required by manufacturing recommendations for each piece of equipment across Helios Towers network
- Ensuring that all new equipment installations across Helios Towers network meet acceptable quality installation practices
- Working with all maintenance partners on process training matrices. All training needs to be updated on the process matrix to ensure that methods that create quality preventive maintenance and equipment installations are implemented across Helios Towers network and tracked for improvement
- Ensuring that scheduled maintenance work is carried out by trained/qualified personnel
- Performing audits to ensure SOP instructions are being followed, and approved equipment and tools are being used, in order to maintain service quality levels

Requirements for the role
To succeed in the role, you will be /have:
- Educated to Degree Level
- 3 to 5 years' experience of maintaining all aspects of tower site passive infrastructure or a similar maintenance related role
- Experience working for aΒ multinational company or in a large/public listed organisation
- Advanced English and French spoken and written language skills
- A pro-active, process driven attitude with excellent attention to detail and results focused
- Planning and organising person with excellent follow up skills and ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
- Complex problem-solving skills
- Strong communicator and good team worker
