The role
As a Commissioning Electrical Test Engineer - Combat Systems, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll contribute to the commissioning and testing of submarine systems, ensuring they perform safely, reliably, and in line with stringent technical standards. This is a hands‑on engineering role that places you at the heart of some of the most advanced defence platforms in the world - giving you the chance to develop your expertise, broaden your technical understanding and make an impact that matters.
Day‑to‑day you’ll be:
This role is full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 07:15 – 16:45 and is based on site at HMNB Clyde Faslane.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
