Data & Analytics QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Design and execute test plans and test cases for data and analytics solutions using requirements/User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in Azure DevOps
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Drive Data Reconciliation testing using automated approach to ensure 360 -degree data reconciliation between source and target systems including BI reports.
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Validate and reconciliation of the ETL extracts, reports and outcome information for quality delivery including – Landing zone, Bronze Layer, Silver Layer & Gold Layer, data quality metrics and BI reports.
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrity across systems.
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform functional and regression testing on analytics platforms.
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify, log, and track defects and issues using defect management tool like Azure DevOps. Driving defect triage process for effective resolution.
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards during QA activities.
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Publishing Test Summary reports including defects summary, coverage for functional, regression and automation
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identifying and logging Risks and Issues with stakeholders for timely resolution
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identifying and creating test data as needed for QA activities and ensuring adequate test coverage based on scope
<\/p>

-          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Supporting Business users during UAT cycle for seamless execution, feedback tracking and sign off.
<\/p>

Must -Have Skills<\/b>
<\/p>

- 7 -10 years of Strong understanding of QA methodologies and ETL testing processes including Azure related cloud DWH.
<\/p>

- 7 -10 years of Experience in testing data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes, and data validation.
<\/p>

- 5+ years of hands -on experience in testing Management Information reports using Tool like Microsoft Power Bi, etc
<\/p>

- Handson experience on data reconciliation automation testing with tools like QuerySurge, Python, SSIS.
<\/p>

- Proficiency in SQL for data verification and validation.
<\/p>

- Familiarity with data analytics platforms and tools testing including Microsoft Fabric, Power Bi, Micro Strategy, etc.
<\/p>

- Experience in Agile and Hybrid delivery model
<\/p>

- Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills.
<\/p>

- Assertive Reporting, documentation and communication skills
<\/p>
