Test Lead Role Overview – Software Quality Assurance and Digital Solution Testing 

As a Test Lead at Vidoori, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing test strategies that guarantee robust, reliable, and high-performing technology solutions for our clients. Working closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and clients, you will champion best practices in quality assurance and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities – Test Planning, Team Leadership, and Automation

• Lead the design, implementation, and execution of test strategies, plans, and scripts across multiple software projects using industry-standard methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, user stories, and design documents, ensuring they are testable and comprehensive.
• Coordinate, mentor, and support testers in both manual and automated testing activities, fostering skill development and best practice adoption.
• Identify, log, and track software defects through to resolution, ensuring clear communication of risks, issues, and progress.
• Promote and implement automation frameworks to drive efficiency and coverage in regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Manage test environments, data, and tools, ensuring accuracy and readiness for each test cycle.
• Report on testing progress, metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders, recommending improvements where appropriate.
• Champion an inclusive, positive, and solution-focused culture within project teams and the wider business.

Essential Skills and Experience – Senior Quality Assurance and Test Leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in software testing with proven capability in leading test planning and execution within digital projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, test methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and modern QA processes.
• Demonstrable experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and mentoring test teams, supporting their professional and technical growth.
• Hands-on knowledge of defect tracking, test management, and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, TestRail).
• Commitment to a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace where every perspective is valued.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD practices is highly desirable.
