Lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and reporting of vehicle crash tests involving anthropomorphic test dummies.
Manage the preparation, installation, and calibration of test dummies, sensors, and instrumentation.
Supervise the collection, validation, and analysis of crash test data to assess occupant safety performance.
Collaborate with Safety Engineering, Design, and Test teams to define test protocols and improve dummy test methodologies.
Ensure compliance with international safety standards and regulations (e.g., NCAP, FMVSS, ECE R94, R95).
Develop and implement improvements in dummy test procedures and data acquisition processes.
Lead root cause analysis and provide technical feedback to support vehicle safety enhancements.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians within the dummy test team.
Maintain and manage test equipment, dummies, and related resources efficiently.
Communicate results clearly to stakeholders and support safety certification documentation.
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive crash testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Extensive hands-on experience working with crash test dummies, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
Deep knowledge of anthropomorphic test devices (e.g., Hybrid III, THOR, WorldSID) and their instrumentation.
Proficient in crash data analysis software and techniques.
Familiarity with international crash test standards and regulations.
Understanding of vehicle safety systems and occupant protection technologies.
