We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful Testing Lead to join our team in building a next-generation digital platform for the life insurance industry. This platform integrates multiple SaaS solutions using modern cloud-native architectures and APIs, and your leadership will be critical in ensuring its quality, performance, and reliability.

As our Testing Lead, youβll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality culture of the team and ensuring our platform meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end testing strategy for a complex, API and Data driven, cloud-native platform.
- Design and implement robust regression, functional, and performance testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to ensure test coverage across all integration points.
- Analyzes system and business requirement for testability by utilizing advanced testing tools.
- Work closely with cross functional development, testing and product teams, across multiple geographies, to support the testing practice and program execution.
- Develops, documents, executes and maintains test cases and test data, based on business and system requirements.
- Drive test automation initiatives and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
- Champion quality best practices and continuous improvement across the SDLC, especially documenting testing standards and processes.
- Work in a SAFe agile team, participating in Agile ceremonies such as PI planning, sprint reviews, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Reports the status of the test plan execution through defect logs and defect tracking system.
- Conducts audits to ensure test planning and execution adheres to standards and guidelines. Defines advanced test plans needed to achieve appropriate level of coverage.
- Plans work via the preparation for and participation in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Sprint Planning, which includes developing and committing to Team PI Objectives and Sprint goals.
- Demonstrate working code to Product and Business Owners and supports the Product Owner in the execution of the iteration and PI System Demos.
Requirements - 7+ years of experience in software testing with cloud / applications environment, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Bs in Computer Sciences, Technology, Engineering or similar
- Full English Fluency
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- SAFe Practitioner or SAFe Agilist Certification within 180 days of hire required.
- SAFe DevOps Certification preferred.
- Certification around test frameworks highly desired.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services domain is a plus.

- Proficiency in using data and automation to improve application quality.

Software / Tools
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter). (MUST)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with other cloud services (e.g., AWS S3, Lamda, MuleSoft, Cloudhub), would be highly desired.
