Job Description:

The Role 

Working for the QA Team Lead, you will work within a multidisciplinary team including Customer Service, Development, Consultancy and Project Services, helping to e ensure our products are reliable, robust and ready for release. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Clarify and accept testing requirements 

  • Define and schedule tests, design test cases and identify test conditions to manage risk 

  • Develop test procedures and other quality documentation: test plans, test cases, and status reports for management 

  • Execute exploratory and regression tests 

  • Analyse actual vs expected results 

  • Participate in the technical review process 

  • Log, track, and manage defects through their full lifecycle 

  • Collaborate with, and ensure clear and accurate reporting to stakeholders 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices 

  • Support and coordinate software release management activities across QA, UAT, and Live environments 

  • Author and maintain release notes 

  • Assist in planning and facilitating UAT cycles

Skills 

We’re seeking someone who wants to challenge themselves to be the best they can be and, in the process, make a positive contribution to the evolving service provision that is the cornerstone of our success. The following technical skills would be an advantage, but not essential: 

  • Awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies 

  • Experience using tools like Jira 

  • Working knowledge of SQL 

  • Interest in test automation 

  • ISTQB Foundation certification (advantage but not )
