Hardware Test Engineer

Support Resideo deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside other talented engineers. 

You will contribute to the development of Resideo's next generation Comfort/Water control product by testing and validating products from prototype to the releasing product on the market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.

Partner with various project teams to reach effective solutions to complex electrical engineering problems 

JOB ACTIVITIES:

• Responsible for hardware testing of electro-mechanic products for Resideo Comfort/Water business, perform testing of electrical actuators, controllers, sensors, and wireless and wired communication interfaces.
• Testing tasks will include emissions and immunity EMC testing and RF spectrum testing. 
• Partner with electronics designers and other design team members to execute demand for hardware testing 
• Take ownership for engineering test plan preparation; translate technical specification into test plan.
• Support product hardware testing across all project development phases of concept, design, engineering verification and final product qualification testing. 
• Cooperate with design team on systematic and risk mitigation methods design methods – functional diagram, design, and product FMEA

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Electrical/Electronic engineering education or qualification
• Valid professional qualification in electrical engineering in accordance with Act No. 250/2021 Coll. and Decree No. 194/2022 Coll – (formerly "Decree 50“)
• Good understanding of electronic circuits (microcontrollers, peripherals, communication busses, power supplies)
• Written and verbal English language skills at B1 level (B2 and better preferred)
