Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute (MTech) seeks a professional who will ensure our products are reliable, functional, and robust through comprehensive testing across UI, API, and AI model behaviors. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards that support our mission-critical educational programs.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Master's in a related field. Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of exceptional experience will be considered.
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience.
Required Technical Skills:
a. Strong experience in software quality assurance with 3+ years professional experience
b. Expertise in test automation frameworks and methodologies
c. Experience testing APIs, web applications, and complex integrated systems
d. Knowledge of AI/ML testing concepts and model validation techniques
Programming Languages & Testing Tools:
a. Python (for test automation and AI testing)
b. JavaScript/TypeScript (for web application testing)
c. Testing frameworks: Selenium, Pytest, Jest, Cypress, Playwright
d. API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, Newman
e. Performance testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, K6
f. Test management: TestRail, Jira, Azure Test Plans
g. AI testing tools: Great Expectations, MLflow, W&B (Weights & Biases)

Physical Demands:
Sedentary work performed in a normal office environment; exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Ability to attend meetings both on and off campus.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

a. Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans for complex AI-integrated applications

b. Develop and document edge case requirements to guide development processes

c. Implement and manage test automation frameworks across multiple technology stacks

AI Testing & Validation

a. Design testing strategies specific to AI/ML model behaviors and outputs

b. Validate LLM responses and RAG system accuracy

c. Test AI integration points and data flow consistency

d. Monitor AI model performance and regression testing
