Project Overview:

We're specifically looking for someone with a proven track record managing multiple workstreams, including third-party vendor oversight. The client is currently implementing a new operating model that includes outsourcing several key middle- and back-office functions to a third-party service provider. As part of this strategic initiative, they are seeking an experienced Test Manager to take ownership of quality assurance across the Ops Model project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy for the project
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate quality risks
  • Establish and enforce quality governance processes
  • Implement and monitor a risk-based, quality-gated approach to testing
  • Plan, coordinate, and track testing across multiple project workstreams
  • Promote and enforce software testing best practices
  • Define and report on project-level quality metrics
  • Engage with key business and IT stakeholders (e.g. Project Sponsor, Project Manager, Workstream Leads, Domain Owners)
  • Oversee test governance and assess the quality of third-party vendors
  • Identify and implement test automation opportunities where applicable

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant business or IT degree
  • Formal training/qualification in Software Testing or Quality Assurance
  • Minimum 10 years of overall testing experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a test management or leadership role
  • Proven experience in managing testing for complex, high-risk system implementations
  • Experience coordinating testing efforts across internal teams and external contractors
  • Previous involvement in projects with highly integrated, multi-system architecture
  • Experience engaging with and managing the quality output of third-party vendors
