We are seeking a proactive, eager-to-learn Junior QA Engineer or Intern to join our team in BogotΓ‘. This entry-level role is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in Quality Assurance. Qualifications
- 0 to 1 year of experience in a QA or related technical role (academic projects, personal projects, or previous internships count).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- B2 english level is a plus (required for collaboration with global teams).
- Knowledge of or exposure to different testing techniques, such as UI testing, automated testing, test-driven development strategies, and others.
- Exposure to or eagerness to learn common testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, BrowserStack, LambdaTest).
- Understanding of basic testing concepts and at least one common programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java)Β
- Experience with web security technology
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Test current products and identifying deficiencies
- Suggest solutions to identified product problemsΒ
- Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
- Plan, create, and manage the overall quality planning strategy.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure consistent project execution.
- Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.Β
- Oversee continuous improvement projectsΒ
- Collect quality dataΒ
- Identify key KPIs for product quality.
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to senior management.
