The Mission
Financial Markets (FM) is the Bankβs gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of INGβs clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.
The FM> Tribe is the change delivery department of Financial Markets (βFMβ) and Group Treasury (βGTβ), with a purpose to realize our clientsβ ambitions by connecting them to global markets, providing financial solutions, and delivering long-lasting value.
You will be part of a team of IT Integrators in the Financial Markets and Group Treasury Tribe (FM>). The IT Integrator is a senior role in the tribe. As an IT Integrator, youβll manage and coordinate large initiatives, bridging different parties to achieve results. Your success is not based on your hierarchical position, but based on your strong communication and collaboration skills, your results delivered, and your added value for ING and for the teams you work with.
As Test Manager you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, like IT teams, Business users, Product Owners, Release Managers and Production Support teams, in order to align and streamline on test governance, planning and execution for the different technical and functional deliveries. Your day to day
Even if youβll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our officeβs garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. The following will be the main responsibilities of the role:
Serve as the interface between various stakeholders (Trading, Operations, IT, and software vendor partners) to plan the end-to-end testing with a well-defined strategy
Set up the test strategy, plan, and approach for the entire program, including data, functionality, and interfaces
Lead test execution by efficiently planning testing activities with the relevant teams
Prepare and deliver regular test progress updates to the project/program manager, escalating risks where necessary
Own the test sign-off process, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met before go-live
Manage stakeholders (business and IT) during release cycles with regards to testing activities (including escalations and impediment resolution)
Identify and report test impediments, key teams dependencies and issues preventing the execution of the test plan under the bigger delivery plan
Ensure end-to-end test coverage for business use cases (by thorough collection from responsible testing teams and continuous challenge for completeness and correctness)
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and act as the single point of contact for business and IT teams during testing cycles
Track and manage defects and issues, perform impact assessment of issues scope and ensure resolution before key milestones and UAT sign-off; coordinate cross teams for retest and validations
Leverage knowledge and experience in financial markets, products, applications, and delivery to lead testing in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
Work independently, ensuring that the implications of testing decisions are thoroughly considered and addressed
Maintain a comprehensive end-to-end vision and manage testing complexity effectively
Initiate further development by planning new Features related to testing
Represent the voice of the business in defining and validating key testing scenarios, ensuring quality standards across functional, integration, and migration testing
Foster an environment of open dialogue that encourages expertise development through collaboration and idea-sharing, where colleagues take responsibility, support each other to succeed, and stay ahead in testing methodologies.
What youβll bring to the team
Experience:
8+ years of professional experience
5+ years of experience in Test Management
3+ years of experience in Financial Markets or Treasury business domains
Required knowledge:
Mandatory:
Test management process definition and implementation
Test strategy definition, execution and regular reporting
Proven background in working with trading systems and complex data migration initiatives
You are structured & proactive in problem-solving
You have strong communication skills (in English) and presentation skills across different skill and seniority levels
You are persistent in your approach and able to align with many different stakeholders (strong stakeholder management)
You are flexible and you easily adapt to a changing environment
You enjoy working in a diverse and multi-cultural environment, you trust others and can be trusted

Familiarity with technical concepts such as Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery, Test Automation, Non-Functional Testing

Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
Familiarity with trade flows, front office, and trade operations activities is advantageous
Experience or affinity with IT Security concepts
Foreign languages: English (excellent level)
Education: Completed education at Bachelor/Master level
