Jr. Test Engineer – Life Insurance

• Should have working experience with exposure to IT Systems with complex business processes, and planning for functional testing, impact analysis of changes, and regression testing
  
• Should have experience in understanding business requirements, functional specifications
  
• Need to be well versed with Life Insurance Domain (knowledge of New business, Policy servicing, Claim Settlement etc.)
  
• Should have Knowledge on Insurance Workflow System is
  
• Proficient to create Test Scenarios & Test cases basis of BRD / FSD documentation
  
• Should have Core Application Knowledge of Life Asia (AS400) / Ingenium / Elixir
  
• Should have knowledge in Creating or updating Test
  
• Need to be proficient in Performing SIT & UAT Test Execution
  
• Should have good verbal and written communication skills along with strong Logical thinking
  
• Must be a good learner and self-starter, and also a team player
  
• Should report Defects & follow up with Developers / BA IT for defect fixation with defect ageing tracking SLA
  
• Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 1 to 2years of proven software testing and quality assurance experience.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are a plus.
