Junior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using our bug tracking system.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
• Participate in regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Support the QA team in maintaining and improving test automation scripts.
• Communicate test results and issues clearly to the development and product teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
• Good understanding of software development and testing concepts.
• Familiarity with web and/or mobile application testing.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks.
• Prior experience in the e-commerce industry or related sectors.
• Proficiency in database and API testing.
