Job Overview

As a QA Engineer at Playbook Engineering, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products by integrating QA practices throughout the entire product lifecycle. This is an intensive learning experience position where we will help you automating tests within a year from start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality standards for products by thoroughly testing features before their release.
• Learn Test Automation: take a journey to become test automation engineer more than a manual tester.
• Review business documentation and create test cases and test plans in Testrail.
• Challenge engineers on their solutions sturdiness, usability and aesthetics.
• Learn our QA processes and principles across product lifecycles, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Discover our microservice API Testing framework and start contributing to it.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Education: being in process of studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or a Technician Diploma already in possession.
  
• Any experience as a Quality Assurance engineer or manual tester position is required.
• Alternative experience gathered in any IT internships or additional educational programmes is necessary.
• Focus on TypeScript is a huge plus.
  
  

Nice To Have:

• Experience in load/performance testing, preferably using k6 or other tools like JMeter.
• Experience in creating automated tests for mobile applications using Appium.
