About the role

As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer at Yodeck, you will work closely with our engineering teams to help strengthen the overall software quality of our product. You will be part of our Agile teams and support the design, execution, and maintenance of tests that ensure the end-to-end functionality and quality of each product increment.

The ideal candidate has some hands-on exposure to Software Testing principles, basic familiarity with Web Services Testing Tools, and a good understanding of the fundamentals of the software testing life cycle. Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are key. Any knowledge of performance testing or basic SQL commands is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review product requirements, specs, and designs.
• Design clear, comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Execute functional, regression, security, accessibility, and exploratory testing.
• Develop maintainable automated test scripts (UI, API, or both).
• Log defects in the tracking system.
• Participate in agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.

• At least 1 year of working experience as a QA Engineer in a technological environment.
• Being comfortable with working on software testing technologies.
• Competency in Quality Assurance concepts: test planning, test case design, test case prioritization, test case execution, bug reporting & tracking.
• Familiarity with a test automation framework (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills combined with self-motivation.
• Basic experience with Python.
• Excellent command of English and Greek language, verbal and written.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to developing software with great quality.
