As a Junior QA Engineer, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure the high quality and reliability of our client-facing platform. This is a hands-on position where you will help define, execute, and automate test plans for new features and existing functionalities. Your curiosity for technology, particularly coding, and your ability to systematically test and break features will help us deliver a flawless user experience for our clients.

This position is ideal for someone analytic, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their skills, especially in automation and the world of fintech and crypto trading.

Your mission will be to

  • Execute manual testing strategies and systematically identify, document, and report bugs or inconsistencies.
  • Actively participate in the definition and challenge of specifications, identifying edge cases and alternative user journeys.
  • Automate test cases using Typescript and contribute to maintaining and improving our automated testing suite.
  • Collaborate using GitHub for version control and code reviews.
  • Leverage curiosity and technology affinity to propose new tools or methods for improving quality assurance and testing efficiency.
  • Explore the use of AI tools for test generation or scenario discovery.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and rigor, ensuring newly released features are thoroughly validated before going live.


Requirements

Must Have

  • English is mandatory
  • Rigor and attention to detail - you thrive on meticulously breaking things to make them better.
  • Affinity with technology and motivation to code - eager to move from manual to automated testing over time.
  • Experience using GitHub for workflow and collaboration.
  • Typescript programming skills (at a junior level or above).
  • Genuine curiosity for how things work, with a systematic approach to exploring and testing applications.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with test management platforms (e.g. Squash or similar).
  • Familiarity with crypto trading or a strong interest in web3/crypto technologies.
