Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior QA Engineer to support the testing of SCORM-based
eLearning courses within our custom Learning Management System (LMS). The ideal candidate
will have basic QA knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
SCORM/LMS testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
β Assist in testing SCORM packages (SCORM 1.2 ) integrated with our custom LMS.
β Verify course behaviors such as completion tracking, scoring, navigation, resume
behavior, and progress.
β Test course functionality across multiple browsers and devices.
β Validate communication between SCORM course runtime and LMS (tracking data,
manifest structure).
β Report and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
β Collaborate with developers, instructional designers, and other QA team members on
issue resolution.
β Participate in writing test cases, test checklists, and testing documentation.
β Perform regression, functional, and UI/UX testing for LMS features when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
β 0β1.5 years of software testing experience (internships or projects accepted).
β Basic understanding of Manual QA testing concepts.
β Familiarity with eLearning or SCORM (training can be provided).
β Ability to use browser debugging tools (Chrome DevTools) to check console/network
logs.
β Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/XML is preferred.
β Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
β Eagerness to learn SCORM standards, LMS behavior, and eLearning technologies.
Nice to Have (Preferred)
β Exposure to SCORM standards (SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004).
β Knowledge of LMS platforms or experience with SCORM testing tools (e.g., SCORM
Cloud).
β Familiarity with authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or Rise.
