Job Description

We are looking for aΒ Laboratory test engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes:Β 

  • Perform the following tests and characterization:
    • Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analisys
    • Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) analysis
    • Chemical Analysis on flat metals / aluminum / bulk metals / batteries / magnets / materials for fuel cells / polymers materials
    • Microscopy inspection on metals / polymers / battery materials
    • Tensile / Hardness / Charpy / Tribology / Diffractometry tests
    • Battery cell aging tests and tier down

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in Automotive Materials in one or more of the following technical fields:
    • Metals & Anticorrosion
    • Polymers & Bio Sourced
    • Materials for Electronics
  • Knowledge of automotive materials and materials testing methods
  • University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred specializations are: mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical, industrial processes
  • English minimum level: B1
  • Knowledge of MS-Office
  • Flexibility, Ability to work under pressure, initiative, capacity of teamwork, social and intercultural competency
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate team members
