Role Summary:
FX Trading Systems Lead QA Engineer will shape the quality strategy for robust and scalable backend systems that power critical financial applications on a multi dealer FX platform! You will work as a Lead QA Engineer within an elite delivery team, developing expertise in automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, SQL, and Maven.
We are looking for someone who can grow into leading comprehensive QA processes while delivering innovative testing solutions that meet the evolving needs of the financial industry.
Job Scope/Duties:
Design and execute comprehensive test suites including functional, regression, API, GUI, and database testing
Conduct performance testing (load, stress, fault tolerance) to ensure system reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Develop automation frameworks and maintain test environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Build mocks and simulator components for automation, enabling robust test environments
Drive implementation of shift left approach, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle
Qualifications/Requirements:
7+ years of experience in QA automation with opportunity to develop leadership skills
Understanding of QA processes and best practices with capacity to learn advanced methodologies
Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright, SQL, and Maven
Experience with API, GUI, and database testing
Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes with potential to deepen expertise
Knowledge of technical architecture and test strategy implementation
Preferred Skills:
Experience with FIX Protocol and Kafka messaging
Background in FX trading or financial technology
Groovy scripting skills
Interest in exploring new tools, frameworks, and testing strategies
Ability to debug distributed systems and solve performance challenges
Understanding of C++ code for collaboration with development teams
