QA Engineer

Join our <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Contract <\/span>Order Management System<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> <\/span>(COMS) team as a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead <\/span>QA Engineer<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>, where you will play a critical role in ensuring quality across both legacy and modern platforms. We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong hands -on experience in Selenium <\/span>or Playwright automation, complemented by solid functional QA skills. This position involves designing robust automation frameworks, <\/span>validating <\/span>complex workflows, and <\/span>maintaining <\/span>quality standards for legacy <\/span><\/span>& web<\/span> <\/span>applications while introducing modern testing practices. Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/div>

​<\/span><\/span><\/span>Remain fully hands -on with automation scripting, framework development, and test execution. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Architect and <\/span>maintain <\/span>scalable, <\/span><\/span>reusable<\/span> <\/span>Selenium or Playwright -based automation frameworks. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members <\/span><\/span>across<\/span> <\/span>automation and manual testing. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Work on legacy OMS applications, including environments <\/span>interfacing with <\/span>IBM <\/span><\/span>i<\/span> <\/span>(AS/400) systems, <\/span>leveraging <\/span>tools like TN5250J or similar terminal emulators. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to align testing strategies with business and technical <\/span>objectives. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Drive innovation by introducing modern tools, frameworks, and process improvements. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Ensure <\/span>timely <\/span>and high -quality delivery of test plans, test cases, and execution reports. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Oversee functional test planning, execution, and <\/span><\/span>defect<\/span> <\/span>lifecycle management. <\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Manage workload distribution, issue resolution, and <\/span>maintain <\/span>quality under tight deadlines.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous testing coverage.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>
Promote in -sprint automation and embed quality early through shift -left practices<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Basic Qualifications<\/b>
<\/div>
6 -10 years of experience in QA with strong expertise in Selenium / Playwright automation, as well as functional testing.
<\/div>
Proven experience leading offshore QA teams in a hands -on capacity. 
<\/div>
Proficiency in Java, Javascript and Python for automation scripting (C# experience is a plus).  
<\/div>
Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Insomnia).  
<\/div>
Strong knowledge of test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
<\/div>
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
<\/div>
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
<\/div>
Experience with SQL, Couchbase and NoSQL databases.
<\/div>
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced environment.  
<\/div>
Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.
<\/div>

Preferred Qualifications<\/b>
<\/b><\/div>
Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.  
<\/div>
Exposure to cloud -based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).  
<\/div>
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
