Leading the Quality Assurance function for GBX, the firmβs flagship front-office platform for trading Fixed Income, and Interest Rate and Credit derivatives
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources.
Work with Development and Product teams to ensure high quality delivery of features.
Lead and mentor QA team members.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
Responsibilities
Skills Required:
Minimum of 7 years QA/Testing experience, preferably within a global financial firm
Minimum of 5 years actively working on financial systems
Understanding of Trading Platforms and Trade processing.
Test planning skills; requirements mapping, test design and troubleshooting are essential.
Experience with defect reporting and tracking tools such as JIRA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
Self-motivator
Working knowledge of SQL
Preferred:
Knowledge of Front office Trading Techniques
Knowledge of UNIX/ Linux platforms
Knowledge of performance testing techniques
Experience in automating Java applications is a plus
Experience with FIX protocol is a plus
Experience in Java, XML, JSON andΒ Web services is a plus
