Accountabilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks and test suites using Python.
    • Implement automated testing strategies for APIs and ML/AI models, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability.
    • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Analyze complex software systems to identify opportunities for automation to improve testing efficiency.
    • Execute automated test scripts, report defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
    • Monitor and maintain test automation environments, ensuring stability and reliability.
    • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for test automation and API testing.
    • Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance testing processes.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
    • Contribute to the overall QA strategy, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
    • Proficiency in Python for writing API automation.
    • Experience using Playwright and Python for performing UI testing.
    • Experience testing Web Service APIs with manual and automation tools (Postman, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a remote, team-oriented environment.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
    • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable but not required.
