Lead Test Engineer

β’ Lead comprehensive testing efforts, including the design, development, and execution
β’ Develop and implement robust test strategies for both manual and automated testing, ensuring thorough test coverage.
β’ Strong skills in exploratory testing and effective questioning to clarify functionality and requirements.
β’ Participate actively in backlog refinement and business meetings to ensure a complete understanding of functionality.
β’ Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and QA team members to fully understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
β’ Guide testing across the technology stack, including unit, API, Playwright, and functional/exploratory testing, to determine the best testing approach for new functionalities.
β’ Oversee a team of automation engineers, effectively assigning tasks and managing delivery timelines.
β’ Ensure understanding and implementation of API boundaries in testing processes and the automation of appropriate test scenarios.
β’ Perform root cause analysis on defects, actively ensuring effective resolution and learning.
β’ Monitor quality metrics and provide detailed reports on testing progress and outcomes.
β’ Promote testing best practices and build a culture of quality and inquiry within the team.
β’ Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering a communicative and collaborative testing environment
