WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US 

 

SimCorp Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) was strategically established, initially in 2016 in Warsaw, Poland, and subsequently extended to Manila, Philippines in 2021 and Mexico City in 2023. This deliberate expansion enables us to efficiently connect with clients spanning EMEA, APAC, and NA. Within the ADC, our Business Consultants collaborate closely with market units, focusing on business functionality and solution workflows. Their expertise ensures customized configuration and seamless deployment of SimCorp Dimension for our valued customers. 

We are now looking for a Lead Testing Services Consultant/Test Manager to work within our ADC Implementation Testing Services team, in SimCorp’s Poland office.   
The Test Manager is responsible for leading and executing testing activities across implementation and test management projects. This hybrid role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery consulting, ensuring high-quality outcomes whether testing is performed internally or by clients. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR   

Strategic Leadership & Planning 

  • Define and adapt test strategies based on project scope, objectives, risks, and timelines. 

  • Lead the creation of detailed test plans, identifying testable scope and aligning schedules with project plans. 

  • Contribute to project effort estimation and resource planning. 

  • Analyse project artifacts (e.g., WBS, requirements, configuration documents) to derive testing scope. 

  • Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation actions. 

Test Execution & Delivery 

  • Organize and lead test activities for internal and external teams. 

  • Design and execute functional component, end-to-end, and system integration test cases. 

  • Manage incident tracking and resolution throughout the test lifecycle. 

  • Monitor and control test progress and incident handling across teams. 

  • Ensure adherence to established delivery practices and team collaboration standards. 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders from project initiation to closure. 

  • Conduct kick-off meetings, defect triage calls, workshops, and regular reporting. 

  • Provide timely updates on test metrics and project status. 

  • Support clients during their test execution, including test suite handover and Q&A. 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of standard service delivery practices. 

  • Conduct project closure activities and deliver final test reports. 

 

Collaboration Scope 

  • Internal QA and test teams. 

  • External client teams. 

  • Configuration and development teams. 

  • Project managers and business stakeholders.

  • Experienced with test and incident management tools: Azure DevOps Test Plans, Jira, Agility, and HP ALM 

  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and established testing practices 

  • Familiarity with financial domain processes and SCD (Supply Chain Domain) knowledge 

Certification  

  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager 

  • ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Test Analyst 

  • PMP Certification (considered a plus)
