Manual QA Engineer/Specialist (m/f/d)

About your future role
We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with a background in agile methodologies. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the quality and functionality of software products through meticulous manual testing and collaborating with the teams to drive successful outcomes. 

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for functional testing (UI, API, batch processing)
• Collaborate with development teams to understand the requirements and devise testing approach
• Collaborate with test automation team to enable efficient regression testing process 
• Identify, document and track defect using Azure DevOps ensuring defect resolution
• Conduct regression testing to very that existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes
• Provide insights on testability and quality

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Experience in software testing
• Experience in planning and writing test cases, execution and evaluation of test results
• Capable of understanding business requirements and devise test specifications
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, concepts and activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with diverse teams
• Strong skills in SQL

• Experience of working in a payment industry
• Experience of working with Azure DevOps, Confluence and Jira
• Experience in test management
• Experience with testing tools (e.g. SoapUI)
• ISTQB certification
