Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Lead who will be responsible for leading end-to-end manual testing activities, defining QA processes, and ensuring high-quality delivery across applications. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on testing expertise, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manual testing activities across web and/or enterprise applications

• Define and implement QA strategy, testing standards, and best practices

• Create, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices

• Execute functional, regression, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing

• Identify, log, track, and validate defects through the complete defect lifecycle

• Collaborate closely with development, product, and client teams to ensure timely issue resolution

• Mentor and guide QA team members and ensure adherence to quality processes

• Participate in requirement analysis and review to ensure test coverage and clarity

• Provide regular test status reports and quality metrics to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Manual Testing / Quality Assurance

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC

• Hands-on experience in test design, execution, and defect management

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, ALM, or similar

• Excellent communication skills (mandatory) – verbal and written

• Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based setup

Good to Have

• Experience testing SaaS or cloud-based applications

• Exposure to manual API testing

• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders
