What you'll do:
Prepare and execute lab activities related to the evaluation of appliances, in terms of functionality, safety and performance.Β Actively participate in the development of new projects.Β Work autonomously, following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement.Β Solve a range of straightforward to complex problems.Β Interact with cross-functional teams, shares knowledge. May supervise lab technicians and specialists
In detail, you will:Β
Responsible for Mechanics test area
Prepare and execute lab activities related to the evaluation of appliances, in terms of functionality, safety, and performance
Actively participate in the development of new projects
Work autonomously, following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement
Solve a range of straightforward to complex problems
Interact with cross-functional teams, shares knowledge
Broaden competence in own area; still acquires higher level skills
Receive moderate guidance and direction in own area of knowledge
Prioritize and organize own work to deliver to agreed deadlines
Apply knowledge/skills to a variety of standard day to day activities
Identify and solve problems in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, analyzes each using standard procedures
Contribute actively to team activities, sharing experience and ideas
Build productive relationships within and outside of own team
Quality Management according to ISO/IEC 17025
Coach team to solve the problems with strategic thinking together with sense of urgency
Support Cost reduction and Quality improvement activities
Support Consumer Magazines activities
Coordinate with Global laboratory for equipment, test procedures, test manual, capability, and competence
Validation laboratory facilities and equipment control
Validation laboratory capabilities and improvement planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor βs Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3β7 years of hands-on experience in R&D product design or mechanical testing, preferably within the home appliances industry
Strong command of English, both written and spoken
Knowledge:
Products knowledge
Washing Machine, Washer Dryer, and Tumble Dryer Functionality
ISO/IEC 17025
Project Management

PPM & Basic Microsoft Project
Bill of Material (BOM)
Electrical and Electronic components
Design of Experiment (DOE)
