Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. This role will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products across mobile, web, and backend systems. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and collaborating closely with developers, QA, and DevOps to integrate testing into our CI/CD workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for:
  
• Android applications using tools such as Espresso
  
• Cross-platform apps using Appium
  
• Backend systems (RESTful APIs, services, databases) using Postman or custom frameworks
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins
  
• Work closely with development teams to define and improve test strategies and ensure coverage across features
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  
• Log and track defects using issue tracking tools like Jira
  
• Investigate failed tests and drive root cause analysis
  
• Enforce test automation best practices and contribute to shared libraries/utilities
  
• Participate in code reviews and maintain a high-quality bar across testing efforts
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in test automation and quality engineering
  
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  
• Proficient with Android test automation tools like Espresso or Appium
  
• Solid understanding of API test automation for RESTful services
  
• Experience with CI/CD integration tools such as Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines
  
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
  
• Strong grasp of mobile app architecture, asynchronous operations, and UI synchronization challenges
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Charles Proxy, Firebase Test Lab, or Xcode Instruments
  
• Familiarity with load testing tools such as JMeter or k6
  
• Exposure to scenarios involving push notifications, deep linking, and analytics validation
  
• Working knowledge of Docker and container-based test environments
  
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and test reporting tools such as:
  
• Sentry
  
• Firebase Crashlytics (for Android)
  
• New Relic (for backend performance)
