The Position:The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Manager, reporting to the Director Inventory Control and Quality Assurance, will assist in the development, implementation, and execution of all functions relating to Inventory Control and Quality Assurance. Will partner with other department heads to assign counts, train employees, resolve discrepancies, and develop corrective actions when needed.
The compensation range for this position starts at $80K per year, depending on experience.
This position will work 8:00am- 4:30pm, Monday- Friday.

Your Day-to-Day:
Maintain ICQA Boards, generate reports and all other means of communicating cycle count results and inventory-related information to the facility.
Responsible for ensuring all ICQA related training is completed and documented.
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of all key inventory control and quality assurance functions.
Manage company cycle counting program, including design and implementation of the program and any needed changes.
Work directly with facility leadership to plan and execute customer-level physical inventories.
Working with facility leadership, develop cycle count programs per customer.
Support on-site physical inventories at the facility where appropriate.
Work directly with facility leadership to Champion Quality initiatives.
Analyze inventory and quality trends to determine the drivers of the variances, initiates correct actions, and collaborate with operations on the implementation of those corrective actions and process changes.
Approve proposed corrective actions.
Review all operationβs NCR/CAR responses prior to final submission to Quality for Approval.
Maintain records for inventory accuracy trends, inventory reconciliations, and inventory audits.
Manage weekly/monthly/ YTD reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIβs).
Analyze inventory management systems, procedures, and their results, recommending changes, writing modifications, and coordinating their implementation to improve integrity, control, and the capability to meet company objectives.
Provide technical guidance to personnel on inventory management system.
Responsible for seeing that documentation in the form of procedures and work instructions are available and current for critical functions.
Assist in training warehouse and Supervisory personal in required ICQA Procedures.
Schedule planned inventory cycle counts and report on completion percentage, productivity, and results of counts.
Conduct ongoing operational audits against best practices and report results to facility leadership.
Develop action plans based on results of operational audits aimed at improving operational best practices and discipline.
Conduct location spot audits outside of cycle count program.
May have some customer-facing interaction.
Maintain ongoing knowledge and training in new standards and quality certifications.
Additional duties as warranted based on individual facility needs include but are not limited to:
Conduct and report on Quality Audits per SLA agreement with customer.
Oversee projects related to Quality and Inventory as directed by customer or Barrett Leadership.
Manage NCR system for facility.
Champion the GGOB program in the facility. This includes the effective communication of GGOB targets and results and the oversight of mini-games to improve productivity and/or improve our customerβs experience.
Travel required up to 25% of the time.
Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring to the Table:
A minimum of four (4) yearsβ experience in a leadership position within the ICQA function.
A minimum of three (3) to five (5) yearsβ experience working with a WMS and end-users in an Operations environment.
Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field, required; may substitute 8 years of experience in lieu of degree. Certification in ASQ, Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant certification preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred).
Experience with Share Point preferred.
Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
