Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant SAP Test Manager

An SAP Test Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all testing activities across SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects. This role ensures that SAP systems meet business requirements and quality standards before deployment.

Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning
•    Define overall test strategy, approach, and test plan for SAP projects (e.g., S/4HANA implementations, rollouts). 
•    Identify testing scope, objectives, risks, and resource requirements. 
•    Establish entry and exit criteria for each testing phase. 
Test Management & Execution - Lead end-to-end testing phases\: 
•    Unit Testing (UT) 
•    System Integration Testing (SIT) 
•    User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 
•    Regression Testing 
•    Coordinate with functional, technical, and business teams. 
•    Monitor test execution progress and ensure timelines are met. 
Defect Management
•    Implement defect tracking and triage processes. 
•    Work closely with development teams to resolve defects. 
•    Prioritize issues based on business impact and severity. 
Stakeholder Communication
•    Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders. 
•    Facilitate test status meetings and reporting dashboards. 
•    Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities. 
Test Automation & Tools
•    Drive adoption of test automation tools (e.g., SAP CBTA, Tricentis Tosca, HP ALM). 
•    Ensure efficient use of test management tools and frameworks. 
Quality Assurance & Governance
•    Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices. 
•    Conduct test reviews and audits. 
•    Maintain documentation and traceability (RTM). 
Team Leadership
•    Lead and mentor QA/test teams (onshore/offshore). 
•    Allocate tasks and manage performance. 
•    Coordinate with cross-functional teams (SAP Functional, Basis, ABAP, Security).

•    Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD, HCM, etc.). 
•    Experience in SAP implementations, upgrades, or migrations (preferably S/4HANA). 
Hands-on experience with testing tools\: 
•    Tricentis Tosca 
•    HP ALM / Quality Center 
•    SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
Testing Expertise
•    Deep understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC). 
•    Experience in manual and automated testing. 
•    Knowledge of test data management and environment management.

•    Graduation\: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA

•    The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of multitasking and efficiently manage their time in a multifaceted environment with demanding deadlines while requiring minimal levels of supervision.
•    Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems
•    Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive sophisticated, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
