JOB TITLE: Principal QA Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a hands-on Principal QA Analyst to support our Data & Analytics team, preferably in Mexico/LATAM. This role is responsible for running agile ceremonies, managing sustainment operations, ensuring production quality, and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

This is not a pure process role — the candidate must be technically capable, comfortable reviewing code, understanding deployments, and supporting issue resolution when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and run all agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Grooming, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Own and manage delivery and sustainment backlogs, ensuring clear priorities, owners, and timelines.
• Balance new development and sustainment tickets to ensure smooth operations.
• Act as a gatekeeper for production deployments, ensuring proper validation, QA, and release readiness.
• Draft and validate acceptance criteria for incoming requirements.
• Perform or coordinate QA checks before production releases and ensure alignment with business definitions.
• Work closely with engineers to understand code, dependencies, and deployment progressions.
• Support issue resolution, debugging discussions, and decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders across multiple geographies.
• Create and maintain clear documentation covering process, design, development, and delivery standards.

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.
• Experience managing both development and operational (sustainment) work.
• Technically strong with the ability to understand code, data pipelines, and deployments.
• Solid understanding of the Microsoft data & analytics stack (Azure data services, Power BI, CI/CD).
• Experience owning or supporting production releases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in distributed, cross-cultural teams.
• Ability to make decisions, resolve issues, and unblock teams.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS 
 

• Experience in data engineering or analytics teams.
• Exposure to data quality, validation, or finance/executive reporting.
• Background in technical program or delivery management.
