Principal QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation, particularly for web, API, and UI/mobile applications. This individual will play a key role in designing and implementing automated test frameworks to ensure our software products are reliable, scalable, and meet quality standards. You will also work closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium
• Develop and execute API test automation using Postman or Rest Assured
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
• Perform performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation strategy and planning
• Log and manage defects, and ensure thorough documentation of test cases and results
• Continuously improve automation efficiency, test coverage, and testing best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software QA and Automation
• Should be flexible to work from 2PM to 11PM PKT
• Proficiency in automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
• Strong experience in API automation with Postman or Rest Assured
• Hands-on with performance testing using JMeter or Gatling
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Proficient in Java or Python programming for test automation
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
