QA Analyst
The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Freeport, TX area:
.QA ANALYST
12-hour shifts. 4 On / 4 Off. Rotating days/nights

During your 12-hour shift as a QA Analyst you willβ¦
- Participate in all required site safety activities
- Follow site and business procedures as well as MundyΒ Corporate policies
- Analyze controls, in-process, and finished product samples as required, recording data in appropriate databases
- Conduct raw material testing in support of manufacturing operations
- Review SAP QM data for correctness to ensure product quality and conformance to customer specifications
- Monitor data for deviations and trends, reporting excursions to appropriate personnel
- Identify opportunities for improvements to lab work practices and communicate them to supervision
- Provide trial support and perform special projects as required
- Help to maintain ISO 9001 and customer specific certifications and procedures
- Work with co-workers as a team to facilitate optimal operations of the laboratory.
If youβ¦
- Have a HS Diploma or equivalent
- Are willing and able to work 12hr rotating shifts (Day/night/weekend/holidays)
- Have knowledge of standard laboratory analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Have good attendance, performance, and safety record
- Are a good team player with communication skills and attention to details
- Have experience in QA and in working with other departments, i.e., production, logistics
- Are able to work unsupervised in an efficient manner
- Have basic computer skills, i.e., Excel, Word, etc.
The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required. All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
