QA Analyst

You are:

  • A curious, methodical QA professional with strong investigative instincts and a passion for understanding how complex systems behave under edge conditions.

  • Skilled at quickly identifying the root cause of issues, even when faced with limited or ambiguous data.

  • Comfortable navigating between functional and technical domainsβ€”able to interpret logs, read payloads, and ask the right questions.

  • Calm under pressure, especially when production incidents arise or high-impact bugs are escalated.

  • Adept at working collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Support, and QA teams to bring clarity and structure to the incident response process.

You will:

  • Own the initial triage and investigation of bugs or incidents detected in staging, UAT, or production environments.

  • Reproduce and analyze reported issues, classify them by severity, scope, and origin (front-end, back-end, data, etc.).

  • Act as a gatekeeper for incoming defects, ensuring only validated and well-documented bugs are escalated to development teams.

  • Provide fast, clear assessments of incidentsβ€”including whether they are blocking, need hotfixes, or can be deprioritized.

  • Maintain a clean and prioritized backlog of bugs, tracking status from triage to resolution with appropriate documentation.

  • Collaborate with QA Analysts, QA Data Specialists, and Product Managers to contextualize issues and ensure alignment on impact.

  • Contribute to quality metrics and retrospectives by tagging incident types, recurrence patterns, and affected modules.

  • Help reduce noise in the QA process by filtering false positives, duplicates, or non-issues.
