DescriptionOwn the quality and readiness of Saucy! in-restaurant and digital technology stack by leading comprehensive QA planning, execution, and release cycles. Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet defined quality standards prior to deployment. Execute and evolve manual and automated test strategies, manage defects through resolution, and ensure QA environments and labs effectively support certification and production readiness across Saucy! platforms.
ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning
- Establish and maintain QA best practices for Saucy! in-restaurant and digital technologies.
- Partner with product owners and engineering teams to define test strategies and scope for upcoming releases.
- Plan and manage QA cycles and release timelines to support predictable, high-quality deployments.
- Maintain and continuously improve a library of manual and automated test scripts.
Test Execution & Release Readiness
- Independently execute manual and automated testing across customer and team member facing platforms, including POS, KDS, kiosk, BoH systems, mobile apps, web, payments, etc.
- Manage the QA lifecycle for incoming software releases, from initial testing through production readiness.
- Track, document, and drive defects to resolution in partnership with engineering teams and vendors.
- Support validation of security and penetration testing findings in collaboration with security teams.
QA Environment & Lab/Device Management
- Own and maintain Saucy! QA environments, ensuring availability and reliability for testing and certification activities.
- Set up and manage QA labs and test devices, including POS, KDS, kiosks, menu boards, payment devices, and BoH systems.
- Manage a fleet of test and production devices, builds, and configurations to support ongoing testing needs and production releases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
- Participate in project meetings, daily scrums, and planning sessions to represent QA readiness and risks.
- Act as a QA subject matter expert, advising teams on system behavior and integration dependencies.
- Serve as an escalation point for production quality issues in partnership with the customer helpdesk.
- Provide guidance and direction to junior team members on testing execution and best practices.
Qualifications
- 2β4 years of professional experience in manual Quality Assurance or a related role.
- Hands-on experience testing in-restaurant and digital systems, including POS, KDS, kiosks, mobile applications (iOS/Android), web, and e-commerce platforms.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong experience creating, executing, and maintaining manual test cases and test plans.
- Working knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar systems).
- Exposure to QA automation tools and a demonstrated interest in test or task automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and a foundational understanding of API concepts is a plus.

Salary Range: 89,300 - 105,100 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidateβs location, experience, and other job-related factors.
