Role Description
As a QA Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting software issues. Will ensure software quality before it reaches end users. This role demands a keen eye for detail, analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.

Your key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks (UI, API).
- Develop and run automated functional, regression, and performance tests.
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/deployment pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Design comprehensive test plans and define automation strategies for new and existing products.
- Analyze test results to report on software quality and ensure high-quality releases
- Validate software functionality and ensure it meets requirements
- Write clear and concise bug reports
- Participate in software design and requirement discussions
- Conduct regression and performance testing
Your skills and experience
Experience: 3 - 5 years
- Proficiency in coding/scripting languages such as Java, Python, Shell or C#.
- Test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or TestNG
- Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Experience with Git and CI tools like JenkinsΒ
- Ability to query SQL databases to verify data integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Manual testing techniques
- Regression testing
- Performance testing
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
- Proven experience as a Tester or similar role
- Attention to detail and strong observational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
