Position Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to support enterprise-level QA automation initiatives. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable automation frameworks for Windows UI and web-based applications, driving efficiency and quality across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Windows UI applications, with extensibility to web platforms
• Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to define automation strategies and tool selection
• Develop automated test suites (functional, regression, smoke) for Windows and web applications
• Integrate automation with test management tools, CI/CD pipelines, and reporting systems
• Define and enforce QA best practices, coding standards, and test design methodologies
• Implement data-driven testing, logging, reporting, and configuration management
• Optimize test execution through parallelization and performance tuning
• Evaluate automation tools and technologies; build POCs and perform ROI analysis
• Support cloud-based testing environments (AWS/Azure) and SaaS applications
• Develop SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure testable requirements and risk-based coverage
• Extend automation to include web UI testing (e.g., Selenium) and load testing tools
• Produce documentation, training materials, and mentor team members

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in QA automation framework design and implementation
• Hands-on expertise with Windows UI automation and web automation tools
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD integration and test management tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP applications
• Exposure to transit or scheduling systems (e.g., HASTUS, Trapeze)
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools

Additional Skills

• Strong collaboration and mentoring abilities
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in QA processes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
