QA Automation Engineer
We are seeking aΒ QA Automation EngineerΒ with over 3 years of experience in automation testing tools, particularly Appium, to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation Development:Β Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test scripts using tools such as Appium and Selenium for mobile and web applications.
- Collaboration:Β Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand product requirements and align test strategies.
- Bug Identification & Reporting:Β Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA; collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Regression Testing:Β Conduct thorough regression tests to ensure stability after code changes or feature releases.
- Framework Optimization:Β Continuously enhance existing test automation frameworks for improved performance and scalability.
- CI/CD Integration:Β Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle.
- Innovation & Best Practices:Β Stay updated with industry trends in QA automation tools and methodologies to improve testing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation or software testing roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Appium (mandatory) and Selenium.
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks for iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams effectively.
