QA Automation Engineer (Appium)

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in mobile application testing and automation. The role involves both manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality mobile and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual functional testing for mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain mobile automation scripts using Appium.
• Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts.
• Execute tests on cloud device farms (BrowserStack / SauceLabs / LambdaTest).
• Conduct API testing and database validation using basic SQL.
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA with proper root-cause analysis.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of QA experience, with 2+ years in mobile testing.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Appium.
• Experience in manual + automation testing.
• API testing experience.
• Database testing with basic SQL queries.
• Tools: Git, GitHub, JIRA, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions.
• Strong debugging, defect reporting, and analytical skills.
