QA Automation Engineer

Salary: 3450-4000 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience. 

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

What you'll be doing
As a Mid QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and elevating the quality of a forward-thinking SaaS platform that values innovation, accessibility, and agility. You’ll focus primarily on building and maintaining robust test automation suites using Playwright, but your role will also include manual testing when human insight makes the difference. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product owners to improve our test practices and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

How you’ll spend your day

• Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright
• Integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Writing and executing manual and automated test plans and scenarios
• Performing functional, regression, performance, and basic security testing
• Collaborating with QA engineers, developers, and product owners to elevate our testing standards
• Identifying bugs and optimization opportunities early in the development cycle
• Monitoring the quality process from initial analysis to release

You'll be successful if you have

• 4+ years of experience in QA, with a strong emphasis on automated testing
• Solid hands-on experience with Playwright
• Good understanding of manual testing practices and translating user stories into test cases
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally within Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with REST API testing tools like Postman
• Bonus: knowledge of performance testing tools or basic security testing.
• Communication skills to articulate issues and ideas effectively across teams
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work cross-functionally with POs, developers, and QA colleagues
