Description

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand project objectives and functional requirements.
  • Identify test scenarios and create test data to simulate real-world usage.

Test Execution and Defect Reporting

  • Execute test cases to validate software functionality and identify defects.Β 
  • Document and report defects, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved.

Test Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.
  • Ensure that testing artifacts are up-to-date and accessible to the team.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to identify potential challenges or issues that could impact the quality of software.

Your profile:

Hard skills:

  • Proficiency in manual testing methodologies.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray).
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Critical thinking and a passion for quality.
  • API Testing knowledge will be a plus
  • Automation testing experience will be Β plus

Certification(s):Β 

  • ISTQB Tester Foundation Level is a plus.

Languages:Β 

  • Proficiency in English & French (written and verbal).
