QA Engineer (3 to 6 years)

Job Title: QA Manual Engineer
Experience: 3+ years
Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications, requirements, and design documents.
  

• Develop, document, and execute detailed, comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  

• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  

• Identify, log, track, and retest bugs using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
  

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and exploratory testing.
  

• Validate fixes and enhancements before release.
  

• Ensure testing is carried out in compliance with defined standards and processes.
  

• Provide clear, concise, and well-documented testing reports and results.
  

Good to Have (Optional):

• Basic understanding of SQL for database validation.
  

• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman.
  

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  

Requirements

• Required Skills & Qualifications:
  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
    

  • 3+ years of proven experience in manual software testing.
    

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
    

  • Hands-on experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
    

  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
    

  • Solid understanding of different testing types (functional, regression, UAT, smoke, sanity, etc.).
    

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    

  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    

  • Sound communication skills and exposure to QA Automation.
    

  • Experience using AI tools in Test life cycle
