Role Description

Quality Assurance Engineer II (AI Specialization) Responsibilities As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will oversee the entirety of Citizens engineering and development efforts. You will help lead a team of highly skilled engineers tasked with ensuring the development of top-quality technical solutions.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Monitoring all stages of the solutions-development process; identifying and resolving defects to meet quality standards; communicating quality standards to relevant parties.
• Assisting to design, conducting and executing tests prior to launch/implementation to ensure solutions run smoothly and meets requirement while being cost effective, identifying test-populations.
• Collaborating with software, network, systems and infrastructure engineers to encourage an automated pipeline for solutions development; developing processes and protocols that ensure quality during all stages of development.
• Communicating and collaborating with consumers and other engineering teams to implement continuous feedback; researching technologies and methodologies as applicable to solutions design.
• Consulting with software engineering teams to identify opportunities to shorten test cycles and lower testing costs. Continuously driving toward test-driven development.
• Analyzing and document test results; when appropriate, providing recommendations and solutions.
• Design of the automation high level test cases in a BDD format based on user stories. 

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of working experience in QA engineering or related fields; experience managing engineers and/or technical personnel; hands-on experience with end-to-end software development of complex multi-tiered systems
• 3+ years of working experience designing and executing tests; experience applying testing methodologies and technologies
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and analysis skills
• Understanding of multiple programming languages, including at least one front end framework (Angular/React/Vue), such as Python3, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C, C++, etc.
• Experience with UNIX or Linux and Windows operating systems; comfortable using standard UNIX utilities to do testing and identify issues Desired Qualifications
• Experience managing sensitive financial data; experience in the financial services industry
• 3+ years of working Experience with Test Automation, setting up Test automation frameworks, writing test automation scripts that can be integrated and executed in a CICD pipeline.
• Experience with automation technologies, tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Test Complete, EggPlant, Appium, Perfecto, ReadyAPI, etc.
• Use AI tools to generate test cases, synthesize test data, and assist in exploratory testing.
• Apply ML-driven techniques for defect classification, log anomaly detection, flaky test detection, and failure clustering. Collaborate with platform/data teams to integrate model quality checks (e.g., accuracy, bias, drift) into test pipelines for ML-enabled features.
• Experience with cyber security; coursework or certifications in cyber security matters
• Experience with GitHub, JIRA, Xray
• Experience in DevSecOps environment and processes is a plus  Education and Certifications
• A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
